After only 4 years at its previous Barton Hill location Burnt Tree’s Bristol depot has relocated to a bigger and better site at 119 Burcott Road, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 8AD.
The new site is located conveniently for both local trade and, with easy access to the M5, the South West of England. The increased size will help to accommodate a greater and more varied fleet to meet the demands of local enterprise and is only 11 miles from their original position. It is clear the team at Burnt Tree are looking forward to being a part of this new neighbourhood.
General Manager, Keith Taylor paid tribute to his staff saying, “Our Bristol operation has grown at an astonishing rate. At times demand was so great that we were stretched to breaking point but the team always put in the extra effort and the new site is just reward.” He went on to express his gratitude to local businesses for the support they’ve given the branch, “...without the support of local people and businesses none of this would be possible. Our new depot will enable us to repay their loyalty with a wider choice of vehicles, better availability and a more convenient collection and drop-off location.”
Bristol is one of 18 sites throughout the UK that Burnt Tree currently operates. The company’s Chief Executive, Richard Metcalfe commented, “these are exciting times for the company as a whole; with a record year financially, the introduction of 2 additional branches and a £60 million investment in new fleet, much of which will be located at the new Bristol site.”
