Burnt Tree, Derby has provided a mini bus in support of the fantastic Derby County in the Community.
Derby in the Community in conjunction with Derby Football Club aims ‘to get the community active, to raise attainment in schools and create a new paid and volunteer workforce to increase future capacity.’
Paul Lyons, General Manager of Burnt Tree Derby, said: ‘We were thrilled to be involved with such a terrific organisation that aims to help our community. Burnt Tree is always keen to help in any way when it comes to such worthwhile schemes.’
The mini bus will be used for various purposes including transporting children with disabilities and learning difficulties from areas of deprivation as well as the girls that play for the Derbyshire Centre of Excellence.
Paul Newman, Manager of Derby County in the Community, said: ‘Such transportation opportunities will make the world of difference to us being able to meet the needs of hard to reach groups through to elite performers.’
