Burnt Tree Join The Few In Gaining ISO14001 in Rental Sector

Protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility, and is something that is an integral part of the culture of one of the most well established and well respected rental companies in the UK .

Burnt Tree has been awarded the highly sought after environmental management standard ISO 14001 and is one of the few vehicle Rental companies in the UK to have achieved such recognition.

With a fleet of some 8,000 vehicles across the UK and employing around 400 people, Burnt Tree Vehicle Solutions carries out a range of activities and uses many products that have the potential to impact on the environment.

Recognising this, the company has designed and developed its own environmental management system to ensure that it controls any impact it may have. A series of policies and procedures have been introduced to reduce the risk of pollution incidents, to improve health and safety and environmental management across the company, and to improve the efficiency in the use of materials.

The company is not complacent and knows that even though it has been successful in achieving the accreditation, the work does not stop there. As part of the system, a process of continual improvement and development is in place to ensure that the high standards are maintained.
