Burnt Tree Vehicle Rental, Manchester go Hire for Macmillan
Burnt Tree Vehicle Rental Manchester are now proud to be fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Both staff and customers will be involved in raising much needed funds for the charity.
Customers will be able to make donations through special envelopes when they hire a vehicle, or they can buy a Macmillan pin badge at reception.
Staff at Burnt Tree Vehicle Rental Manchester will also be engaging in fundraising activities throughout 2012. The decision by Burnt Tree, Manchester to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support follows a successful ongoing relationship between Burnt Tree's Head Office and the charity. The company have had a lot of fundraising success so far with Burnt Tree Vehicle Rental being awarded Best Corporate Newcomer in a regional Macmillan Centenary Awards event.
Expanding the partnership to the Manchester branch will mean that Burnt Tree can achieve fantastic fundraising results in 2012. Wayne Reece, Branch Manager in Manchester said “We’re really pleased to be working with Macmillan Cancer Support. Having seen the fantastic results achieved by our Head Office colleagues we're confident we can make a truly worthwhile contribution to the many people affected by cancer in our local community."

Around 2 million people are currently living with cancer in the UK. By 2030 this will have increased to 4 million people. So it’s vital that we raise more money so that we can reach and improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support provides medical, emotional, financial and practical support to people affected by cancer, their families, friends and carers. It is our ambition at Macmillan to reach everyone affected by cancer. Burnt Tree Vehicle Manchester’s fundraising will help us to reach this ambition.”
