Burnt Tree Support Arriva Team in Charity Bike Ride for The MS Trust

Cycling in support of The MS Trust

Burnt Tree, Wigan support Arriva in their Coast to Coast Charity bike ride for The MS trust.

Rick Halsall, Head of Operations at Arriva Manchester, led a team of 7 cyclists from Arriva and Marine FC on a Charity bike ride starting at St Bee’s Bay in Whitehaven to Robin Hood’s Bay in Whitby.

Burnt Tree, Wigan lent a 6 seater Vauxhall Vivaro van to the cycling team on Thursday 19th May ready for the start of the challenge on Friday 20th May.  The team successfully covered approximately 171 miles in 3 days.

Rick Halsall said: ‘I would like to thank Burnt Tree for their help and support.’ The event is in aid of The MS Trust which provides information, education, research and support for the 100,000 people in the UK who are affected by MS.
